This story really a masterpiece of emotions , hope , understanding , being a family even if you are different , getting together , working things , and being comfortable about talking about anything . ESPECIAL AT CHRISTMAS , it took a autistic 12 year old Hunter Ramirez and beagle therapy dog Buster ,to show the real meaning of Merry Christmas to everyone (all the adults) in the house . It's not the gifts ,but belonging with your friends and family are your family , also. The trex series is great reading. There are lot of different things going on, action, romance and of course happy endings.
This is a cute fun Christmas read! It’s about bringing people together!! I’m sure it goes fantastic with the series!
This would be a nice story but only if you've ready the books in the series that come before it. The characters and plot would make much more sense then. It does have a heart-warming story line though.
I was a bit confused at the beginning of this story and when it ended I was still confused. This is not a story that can be read as a standalone. Far too much was going on and the many characters spent too much time bickering.
I did not enjoy this book.
My sincerest apologies for assuming that I wrote this review when I did not. I absolutely adore the TREX series. This was a special treat to have them gather together despite the grumblings and groanings during the holidays. However, a child shall lead them out of their pitiful whinings into the sunlight. This was only a tasty taste of TREX until the next one. Come and enjoy this treat.
All of our favorite Trex members are gathered for the holidays. Why is the question. With brilliant tenderness and insight, Allie lets us inside the minds of some of our old favorite members and some new people. We learn from an autistic boy the joy of being together and being ourselves. The insights he gives us are breathtaking and made me stop and think for a moment about the simplicity of it all. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for more in the series.
I love Christmas and this story was a great read for this time of year......the title is really cute too Merry TREXmas!!!
The whole TREX gang gathers at Wayde's mansion for the holidays. Only thing is.....what is to be a happy time with "family" turns into a shooting match. Then a Christmas miracle happens in the form of a 12 year old autistic boy. Turns out this young man has his act together more so than the big tough TREX men and their beautiful wives.
Love the last line of the book read by Spencer Allen...."And have yourself A Merry little TREXmas now"!!
